BREAKING NEWS!
CBS has cancelled "Cane." I can't say I am surprised or disappointed. The outlandish story lines, the stiff acting and the lack of authenticity was a cancellation waiting to happen. It's a shame, because I really wanted to like it. I watched 4 episodes waiting for it to get better- and that's 4 hours of my life I will never get back. (Not that I minded looking at Jimmy Smits or Nestor Carbonell, but that is neither here nor there.) Oh well, if I'm in the mood for some real Cuban family entertainment I can always look for old "Qué Pasa, USA?" videos on You Tube.
You can see the list of shows categorized as "Gone for Good" in this USAToday article.

You're right. Much as I wanted to like it, it was awful.

It was good that I only wasted one hour of my life with the first show. It was awful... although I have to confess it was always good to take a look a las pastillas como Carbonell.
